One of my travel plans this year was to visit a new country in Africa (either Senegal or Ivory Coast), with a strong desire to give visibility to African brands and Contemporary artists.
As a result, I have been listing some African brands that I like and where to find them. Since the plan is postponed I thought to keep researching brands and African inspired concept stores in various locations.
What is a"concept store"? It is a shop that sells a carefully curated and unique selection of products such as books, beauty, fashion, food, and homewares that connect to a specific theme. In addition, many concept stores offer experimental elements such as a café or exhibition space, enhancing their appeal to a target audience (shoppers) seeking a particular lifestyle.
